Walk with me around Sissinghurst Castle Gardens :)

Yesterday was perfect weather for walking and so I just had to go out and get some great snaps of the lakes, gardens and woods. Sissinghurst is part of the National Trust, which is a charity that supports some amazing castles, gardens, houses and towers. Check out these awesome pictures from the walk!

It was gorgeous down at Sissinghurst and they also do challenges for children! 50 Things to do Before you are 11 1/2 Years Old. It has fab ideas including: Make a Den. To do this, there are long branches so that you can build your own den. If you have a dog, you can take them and there are 2 small lakes where they can go for a swim with the thousands of fish and ducks.

If you are lucky, you might spot some rarely seen birds like herons, cuckoos, cormorants, buzzards and green woodpeckers. See if you can go to a National Trust property as they all do fun activities for families; sometimes, you can do archery or dress up like you are living in olden times. Remember to take your camera and sketchbook! Whilst you're there, treat yourself to an ice cream or some cake :)
